I had one more $4.50 milk catalina to use at Alby's, so I went on Tuesday night before the $1.39/gallon milk sale ended. 1.39 milk (2)
3.29 tortillas
2.00 cheese
0 tax (thank you City of Mesa!) :)
8.07 subtotal
-4.50 catalina
-3.00 Kmart catalina
Paid .57 OOP
I've been trying to get rid of 3 $3 Kmart catalinas for a few weeks at Alby's now. Each cashier is different. Some of them say Kmart is not a competitor, but others take the catalinas without a fight. I'm just glad I was able to use all of them and not have them go to waste. Lesson learned: If you have a grumpy cashier, try a different check out lane.
I was all ready for a fight when I walked into Target yesterday. They are notorious for being inconsistent and stingy about their coupon policy. Imagine my delight when my friendly cashier scanned each of my 19 Target & manufacturer coupons AND congratulated me on my $19 savings! I wish they could all be so helpful. Final cost for my Target trip was $1.44!A lot of my P&G coupons are expiring this week so I decided to get a bunch of travel size items for free instead of letting the coupons go to waste. A lot of this stuff is great for our 72 hour kits too!

Albie's & Wags trips - cost $1.60
I used another one of my 4.50 Albertson's milk catalinas today. I picked up 2 gallons of milk & some ricotta cheese.
1.39 milk (2)
2.77 ricotta cheese
5.55 subtotal
-4.50 catalina
1.05 paid OOP
Then, I headed over to Wags to take advantage of the super cheap tape! My tape wasn't marked for the lower price - I had to have a cashier price check it. The tape was priced at 1.29 on the shelf, but it rang up at .39. The wider, green packaged kind rang up at 1.79, so apparantly, this is the only type at 39 cents. I used 2 $1/3 Qs and paid .55 OOP for 6 rolls of tape! I bet this deal will roll over to next week since it is unadvertised in the weekly ads and the shelf pricing. Go stock up on super cheap tape! But price check it, just to be sure.
I tried to get some free Johnson and Johnson first aid kits at CVS, but they were already sold out. Oh well, maybe they'll have some more next week.

2 gallons of milk & 18 eggs for 27 cents!
I love over-valued catalinas! I earned 3 $4.50 milk catalinas at Albie's last week for buying participating items. (They were yogurts and after coupons, I didn't actually pay for them.) So, the catalina takes off $4.50 no matter how much the milk is. The best part is milk is 1.39 a gallon this week so I got all of this for .27 after my catalina... and I have 2 more! Yay for free staple items!

I was going to buy a variety of fruit snacks, but I bought only Fruit by the Foot because they may have contained a $5 cash card. Out of 8 boxes, NONE of them had a cash card. What the heck? Oh well. The boys are happy about the massive stockpile of Fruit by the Foot. It will probably be gone in a week. I'm not kidding. :)
