Mail Box Treasures!

Lots of freebie magazines and coupons in my mailbox!
I got three free magazines - Marie Claire, Weight Watchers, & Business Week. I love Marie Claire and can usually find good MQs in there. Weight Watchers is very inspiring, full of healthy recipes, and stocked with great MQs! I read all my free magazines and then they go in the Bookman's pile. If you don't know what Bookman's is, click here!

I also received my replacement CVS cards. I lost my CVS card a couple of weeks ago and was so upset because I didn't want to start accumulating Extra Bucks from scratch again. Then, I remembered I had a keychain copy of my card, so I've been using that instead. Thank goodness for those miniature cards! CVS customer service was very helpful in getting my replacement card out to me quickly.

I received a sample from Vocal Point of Puffs Plus tissues. These samples always come with awesome coupons and this was no exception. There was one $1.00/1 and six .50/1 MQs! The best part is no size restriction on the Qs! I am predicting free Puffs in my future! If you aren't using Vocal Point, click here to join and start sampling!

What did you get this week in your mailbox?

Money making Betty Crocker potatoes!

I made a quick trip to Fry's for money making Betty Crocker potatoes! Good news... the OYNO is printing through 4/18, so you can do this same deal, even though the new sales week starts Wednesday! The potatoes aren't on sale, so they'll still be 1.29 tomorrow. The only difference is Fry's isn't turning every coupon into $1 anymore, so it isn't as profitable.

Here's the info on the Betty Crocker potatoes Catalina deal:

-Buy 1, get .50 ONYO
-Buy 2, get 1.50 ONYO
-Buy 3, get 3.00 ONYO

Buy 3, use .25/1 3/28 SS2 or use this .40/1 IP DND
Load .40/1 BC potatoes EQs here and here
Pay as low as 1.57 OOP, get 3.00 ONYO
all items must be purchased in same transaction)

SUMMARY: 2.93 profit!

I did an identical second transaction, but added in an Airwick i-Motion priced at 4.99. I used a 5.00/1 MQ 3/7 SS and got .01 overage. My total summary for this trip was a 5.87 profit! My Frys was still cleaned out of Steamfresh veggies, so I got a raincheck. I was hoping the $1 coupon event would continue this week so I could pair that sale up with the .35/1 MQs, but no luck. Oh well. There's always another deal around the corner!

The 6 Betty Crocker items cost 4.95 before any coupons because the 2 cake mixes were clearanced 50% off. When the cashier scanned the orange clearance stickers, .50 came off each one making each cake mix .19! That's before coupons! Holy overage! :) For these 6 items, I had 7 EQs come off totaling 4.20, so after EQs, these 6 items cost .75 total (.13 each). Then I had the .50/1 frosting MQ and .40/1 cookie mix Q deducted, giving me an overage of 1.25!

I did one more transaction of 4 more Velveeta cups & 4 more Del Monte canned veggies. After coupons, my total was 2.59. I paid with the 1.50 Velveeta OYNO I received from the first transaction. I paid 1.09 cash and received another 1.50 OYNO. SUMMARY = .41 profit

Earned a surprise $2 OYNO for Promise = .12 profit!

NOTES:
-If you've already printed some of these IPQs, it's a new month- try again! I was able to print more Farmer John's today after already printing 2 last week.
-There were .50/1 Farmer John's sausage MQ blinkies in front of the sausage at Fry's. They start with a 9, so they won't double automatically, but you can try to get them to manually double it since they are advertising ALL coupons equal $1.
-I just found out you have to buy 3 Promise butters to get the $2 cat - it was a total surprise to me!
-Fry's at Val Vista & Baseline was already completely cleaned out of .77 Bird's Eye frozen veggies, so I grabbed a raincheck. I have a ton of the .35/1 MQs, so I'm hoping they restock before the $1 coupon event ends!

Also, I had a great mail day today!
1. I received my P&G coupon booklet that I sent away for. You have to spend $50 in P&G products (before coupons) to get the $100 coupon booklet. This can be broken up into multiple transactions. The link is on the right side of my blog and is still active. There are AWESOME coupons in it, so hurry and send away for it!
2. In addition to the P&G coupons, I also received some fun items for another giveaway from My Blog Spark. I'll be starting a giveaway in the next few days for one of you lucky readers! Stay tuned!
3. I also got my "Pull-Ups" potty training DVD. Good timing... my 20 month old has gotten to that fun stage where she takes off her diaper during nap time and plays with its contents. Oh dear...
